In our latest marketing project aimed at boosting OMSA’s profile in the Durban area, we had a stand at the recent KZN Industrial Technology Exhibition. This was the 13th biennial staging of the exhibition and took place at the Durban Exhibition Centre. About 140 exhibitors were present and there were approximately 5000 visitors to the show. They were not even deterred by the torrential downpour which occurred on the fourth and final day (June 10th).

The show was characterised by the large number of high-profile and important decision-makers and stakeholders in KwaZulu Natal’s and South Africa’s industrial technology sectors. It was a most successful marketing opportunity and a good investment in our future in the area.

Staff from Jo’burg supported the local sales team of Brian and Shabir, including our sales managers, product managers and other senior personnel. Notably OMSA’s CEO and owner, Siegfried Errath, was present during the opening day to spearhead the operation.

It was a highly productive event for us as we attracted a lot of interest in our goods and services.

We have made new important business contacts and generated many new potential clients It is likely that we will repeat this initiative in 2013.
