OMSA is situated in Johannesburg where it was established in 1974, and has been successfully supplying local industries in southern Africa and elsewhere ever since. It is an owner-driven enterprise committed to conducting business ethically and to the highest standards, with the express aim of always keeping at the forefront of all operations that “our customers are the most important part of our business”.

The OMSA head office houses the administration, marketing, IT and sales functions of the company as well as providing a consultancy service and holding a comprehensive inventory for component supply to clients.
The engineering arm of the company is located in separate premises close to the head office in Johannesburg where the engineering design, project management and manufacturing functions are carried out. It is also the base for the field services and logistics departments which are responsible for installation, commissioning and after sales servicing.
OMSA manufactures oil and grease lubrication systems and filtration systems, and supplies associated instrumentation and condition monitoring equipment to a broad spectrum of industries in Africa and beyond. It also has a particularly wide range of industrial valves, covering most configurations required, as well as process measurement and control systems and devices, including indicators, switches and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level and flow.
OMSA - PEWAG, an associated company, provides tyre protection chains for use on earthmoving, LHDs and other large vehicles on applications such as open pit excavation, underground mining, hard rock quarrying, tunnelling, scrap handling and slag removal operations.
